![]() ![]() ![]() Heavy Barrel*: Isn't in the game it could fit in, The draw back being a sever mobility reduction on the weapon, the pay off being a much greater accuracy, with less sway sort of a like a barrel version of the vertical grip and less recoil. Shouldn't have an accuracy penalty, if anything it should reduce vertical recoil a bit because of a heavier front end, it should have a substantial cost to the mobility rating though. This thing should behave the opposite way the Long Barrel behaves, reduces recoil by a fair factor but damage dealt is reduced at range, it should also reduce your mobility stat for the length it brings to the table.Įxtended Barrel: Kind of a bad joke. this thing should have a tiny bit of per shot recoil reduction and I would suggest a special hidden mechanic that increased the accuracy of weapons that are set in burst mode. It should just reduce per shot recoil like the silencer but without a velocity cost(damage reduction) and silencing effect, it's effect should be primarily vertical reduction and uniform wall climb should be seen between shots.įlash hider: Increase the light the basic barrel, Break and Heavy Barrel* throw off such that you would see the light flickering in another room when these guns are fired, the Muzzle break specifically should be throwing off light the shooter can see, not obscuring his sight picture but flashing his peripheral vision a bit. In future balance patch it will be nerfed I reccomend a soft nerf in slightly reducing it's recoil reduction factor with each consecutive shot, it will still be very good just for the first shot and second shot being so close to each other.Ĭompensator: This thing does something apparently but it's just not as much as it could. Muzzle Brake: No doubt is the best it gets an amazing first shot recoil reduction and total recoil reduction after that. However at the moment it appears to be better than both the Flash Hider and compensator at each of their specialities (for most guns). Muzzle Break currently has the least jump on the initial shot on all weapons, however I think it was the design intention to have the second shot launch it above the compensator recoil and continually do worse than that, so for a small mag weapon such as a marksman rifle it will be the attachment of choice as you only fire 2-3 shots. It is used for short bursts of 5 shots or less. Flash Hider pulls in the first 5 recoil hits to spread less (vertically and horizontally), after this point it dramatically falls off.Making it more consistent, it is used for spray firing where you empty a massive amount of ammo. Compensator stabilizes the recoil of the weapon over the full duration of a magazine. What platform are you on? Because your explanation doesn't fit with my experience.
